About This Game

The world is over, get up and start the battle of revenge! With the first-person shooter of The War of the Worlds: Andromeda, load your weapons and lead your team to fight through swarms of fierce aliens. Turn the battle around through 14 epic levels of brutal combat, based on the world of H.G. Wells.
Remember that it is an Indie video game, it is not an AAA production. As such, its price is reduced. The idea is to improve certain aspects, add levels and add an online mode over time.
The dynamics of the game is to eliminate the eggs, otherwise the enemies will not stop going out. A group of eggs constitute a wave that must be eliminated to move on to the next one. It has a helmet that allows you to see through the walls and locate enemies and eggs. Go through the pressing the key 'G'. THIS IS A DOOM game type.

TLDR: It's painful to play, it's so bad it's antagonising, goals are unclear. Avoid. Pros and cons: Cons: There is a terrible haze making it difficult to see, seriously, it's really bad (applies to level 1 more). When freeze weapon is selected you can't see properly because you're hand is in the way. The weapons are rubbish, you can't dual-wield freeze and shot-gun at the same time even though to kill anything you have to freeze then shoot it. Easy setting isn't easy, it's a pain to fight creatures, they have a 100% shield which you can't shoot through, you have to 1st freeze them and then hope that when you freeze them a bit of their body randomly flails outside of their shield bubble so that you can shoot it. The game starts off in a cramped overly cluttered area. The story makes no sense what-so-ever. Speech sounds computer generated, translation to English is bad. You can hear your companion saying 'cover me' in an excessively quickly repeated manner from several levels awa...

Pretty great opening cinematic. This quickly devolves into really terrible gameplay. No real level design to speak of, shooting is awkward and tedious, enemies get stuck and behave oddly. This needs so much more polish before it is ready for the big show. https://youtu.be/ITbv2BY0aK0

I got this for $8 It has the feel of a Garry's mod, and as a mod, it would be neat It's unfortunately very choppy and buggy, hard to control and difficultly will change from dirt simple to impossible at any time I get the impression it was made by hard core fps players, who play all day every day and who wanted something "not for jobs" I think it's ready to be shared in their social circle, but not really for mainstream consumption I was very confused why a soldier can stop and slow time, and freeze things..? The opening video, which had a real actor paraphrasing the opening lines of war of the worlds, was genuinely enjoyable

A Game so functionally Terrible and Nauseating, that it makes the Asylum's adaptation of The War of the Worlds look like Stephen Spielberg's 2005 film. Broken English, Options not in the Pause menu, Terrible Story, Low Polish, AI Generated Voice acting, Not a single Original Model, Uses 2005's Tripod design (Should've been original), Bugs GALORE, Softlocks around every corner, Confusing menus, I could go on and on. This is one of the first times i actually felt Psychical pain while playing a game, It gave me a migraine due to the Effects. Even as an AVID WOTW Fan, Avoid unless you just want a WOTW title in your Library.

I loved the video game. Interesting implementation of the theme of the War of the Worlds. As against maybe you should improve the movements of the enemies, but still it is quite outstanding as indie game. Keep it up guys! And I hope soon an online mode ... When it will be available?

Good graphics and scenarios. It takes a while to get the rhythm until you start to control the character, but at that moment you start to really have fun. It helps a lot to take a look at the controls panel before start. A good job for an indie game. Congratulations!
