This is my kind of game - there are puzzles as well as action. I don't know how far into the game I am but it definitely has an increasing degree of difficulty on the action front. The puzzles aren't particularly difficult thus far. The only thing that is a little annoying is that certain types of enemies can't be killed so you just have to avoid them and run into a panic room now and then and wait for them to leave. Still, if you liked games like Tormented Souls (one of my favorites in recent years), you might like this one.

Solid horror game right here. There's a story at hand and voice overs are included! The best part is that ya don't have to do the puzzles if ya don't want to..dependin' on the difficulty. Noice effort. Sample gameplay: https://youtu.be/31gca91tZ6A
Great balance between the horror action and puzzles! The combat style is comfortable. The graphics and audio is very satisfying. Looking forward to beating the game.
Great game, with a good story and lots of puzzles, lots of action. Best played on the hard difficulty so you have to figure the puzzles out yourself, and not have the option to auto solve them. This game kept me on my toes, especially in the sections where you had to solve 3 puzzles, 3 times each, whilst avoiding being attacked by Limerick. I would definitely recommend. I hope Jenito bring out a sequel
Like Limerick himself, this game walks the fine line between genius and madness. There are puzzles that will test your mind, and there are puzzles that will have you grateful for optional skips. In the end, I liked more than I disliked, and I think it's a worthwhile effort from a smaller dev.
Loving it so far, some super intense action between the "playgrounds" and boss's. Got 2 two hour streams of it under my belt and I've only just started so it's a great game with a great amount of gameplay! First stream: https://youtu.be/PCxcwF-fp-Q?si=29s7mxASmM8OiyZT
I liked the game overall but you have to take into consideration it is an indie game. It is not a complicated game but it also doesn't need to be, it's good in it's own right (if that makes sense). I enjoyed the puzzles, not too difficult but challenging enough that when it clicks I went "yes, got it". The Panic Rooms are exactly that
many times I misclicked on the startbutton and barely making it in on time ;-)
Really loved the world and the story. When I finished the game my first thoughts were "Sequel when?"
Despite some puzzles, This game does have an interesting story as it is spilled though in notes that are around the map as well as lore pages that help you get a better grasp on the story as well as who you are and the reason that you are in Cadence Mansion in the first place. The Atmosphere is there and unsettling which makes the limerick encounters tense and creepy and even the basic enemies do get you to jump from time to time with the Atmosphere. now to the puzzles, while a good part of them are easy to understand and do there are a few that are difficult to figure out and if it wasn't for the easier difficulty, I would've been stuck as in the easy mode your allowed to bypass all normal puzzles if you want to in order to progress. With that said it is a pretty interesting game all together and most defiantly something to try out.
Watch out for the puppet blocking the panic room doors when you close them, it won't let you heal or leave the room alive, just die and re-do the same 15 minutes of puzzles again... Hopefully the game plays fair this time maybe...
TLDR: 6/10 overall. Most of it is good. Some parts super tedious. Major bug needs fixing. Overall story keeps you curious but is not the most compelling. Don't let the size of the pro/con sections fool you. The pros and cons are pretty balanced. I made my cons more detailed to help the dev, should the dev ever see this review. Pros -Lost of lore pages to find that tell an interesting backstory. -Creepy atmosphere overall. -Enemies, while simple, give fun fights once things ramp up, mostly. -Majority of the puzzles are fun to complete. -P-B0 is a good boy. Cons -The lairs are very tedious. I like the idea of them but they drag on in such a way that it makes you numb to it all. The later ones getting worse
as the corridors get smaller and threats spawn quicker.
-The speed and frequency of the ghost-like enemies dodging your shots is excessive, considering you technically have limited ammo. -Piggybacking off the previous, upgrading weapons feels like the effect...
