This game is perfect for anyone who remembers playing arcade top down shooters. there is a character system in this game so each character gives different perks which is cool because it makes you want to try and beat the game with different characters as each play differently, and it also looks like they have left room for more characters to come. Gameplay is smooth and enjoyable no crazy bugs that make it unplayable, and the gun upgrade feel like upgrades! Overall I am having fun with it!

About This Game

Features:
• Linear Story Progression: Choose between 4 characters, that utilize varying styles of attack and destruction. In a last ditch struggle against an encroaching enemy, Red Eye, the Private Military Company led by the proud Charles Redrum.
• Classic Arcade: The visual style, gameplay mechanics, and user interface were designed with arcade games in mind, but every asset is hand drawn or 3D
modeled prior to rendering for HD captures and displays.
• Bullet-Hell: The threat of millions of enemy projectiles flying towards you at various speeds and patterns, with the empowerment of various upgrades to
counter-attack and survive.
• Exploration: Facing the threat head-on isn't always the option, so the landscapes are opened up to avoid the immediate threat, to carve out your own
adventure, to locate the 18 hidden defense contracts and eventually unlock the mysterious 5th pilot.

In a world where fundamental terrorist plots have been wiped out by Private Military Companies and power lays at the hands of the few, governments around the world become financially and forcefully invaded by corporate moguls holding the military strings. Red Eye, one of the most powerful of the Private Military Companies begins their ruthless invasion of the UN. In response, the last of the free nations of the world band together with the strike force known as Screaming Eagles.

Hectic gameplay will be the norm as players try to avoid thousands of enemies and projectiles while boasting their own unique attacks and abilities that will scar the environment.
At the end of each of the 7 playable levels will be a massive vehicle, based in reality or completely fantastic in nature that will either heavily saturate the playing field with enemy fire, or by stages will get increasingly difficult to the player.
With all your might, reflexes and courage, take the battle to Charlie and his evil agenda. Score the highest on the leaderboards for score and kills for the right to call yourself the greatest Ace alive.

A WAY TO COOL TOP DOWN SHOOTER LIKE FROM THE ARCADE DAY. RETRO AS HELL AWESOME OLD SCHOOL VIBE A MUST FOR ANY FAN OF TH GENRE.
The lack of a save feature and the steep difficulty ramp make this a game that is entertaining until you die. And then you start all overr again. Sure, you can have extra lives/planes, but without power ups ... start all over again. This is only fun a couple of times. No reason to go back for more.
Screaming Eagles pays great homage to the classic 80's shooter games you'd might find in the arcade. It is challenging and the controls are smooth. This top-down shooter has a lot of variety when it comes to power ups and perks. Over all, this game worth the price and i recommend it to anyone who loves the good old days of arcade shooters.
Great game! Very fun and difficult to beat! Addicting game! Recommended everyone buys this game.
Screaming Eagles is extremely fun with challenging gameplay. This top-down shooter was well made by a very dedicated group of guys and it deserves a play. If you enjoy or have enjoyed arcade top-down shooters in the past, then this game is for you!
Brings back memories of Nes 1943. Wish could save on mission clears. Good flashback to the simple good games of the past.
I rate the game Screaming Eagles 2/5. Bad. This arcade style top-down view schmup game should still be in early access. The game stutters, there are miss-matched textures in the landscape which scrolls by, the menu system for re-binding keyboard controls is irksome, your main weapon is way too weak at its basic (non-upgraded) power level which can cause boss-fights to easily degenerate into periods of boredom. Plot: Very basic plot with short mission briefings introducing each level but which basically indicate that you should shoot everything. Graphics: This is one of the weakest aspects of this game. The graphics are generally terrible. The sense of speed as the bland and ugly landscapes scroll by is very slow and textures on the ground are often miss-matched causing abrupt lines to occur between textures. The small enemies are generally bland and weapon effects are boring also. The bosses look pretty nifty though and are often huge. It was nice how the viewpoint zoomed far, far o...
