It's a great start! I believe more balancing is required and I would absolutely love to see a team based defense mode akin to WMW but this game has already got me itching for more. If you've played the WC3 LTW Mod this game is like that with some great new spins. It's no longer just a send fest to see who's income is higher it requires a more balanced approach. It's definitely got room for improvement but what a start! Pick it up while it's cheap and in EA I have a feeling this thing will go the distance.

Story
In the not so distant future, voices from the darkness reach out through the dreams of gifted children and start feeding on mankind’s negative emotions. These children are known as Dreamers. They have the ability to materialize the monsters haunting their nightmares.
Opportunists see value in controlling Dreamers and their power to draw monsters into our world. Underground tournaments are created where fighters battle each other with summoned monsters.

Unleash establishes the player as a competitor in life and death tournaments where the goals are to build up defenses for your base and to spawn hordes of abominable monsters to attack and destroy everything in their way through the enemies’ bases.
That is where you come in. As a new fighter you must make your mark. Are you brave enough to face the monsters spawned by mankind?

DeSync Studios
DeSync Studios was born out of a passion for AI, Monsters and Line Tower Wars mods. We are driven by our fascination for the Warcraft 3 modding community, producing mods such as the Line Tower Wars mod, and other variations such as Wintermaul Wars and many more. We are making Unleash for the fans of the genre, for the nostalgic gamers, as well as for players who love Tower Defense in general. Our ambition is to add to the genre, and ideally to create the ultimate Tower Defense experience, both for single- and multiplayer. However, our ambition also goes beyond this. We appreciate the modding heritage, and in time, we want to give back to the modders, the indies and the newcomers to the genre.

*Multiplayer servers are desert.* Devs should play their own game for a while or give some free keys to who buys the game because there is no one playing at present and AI is too easy and boring. I'll refund the game in 10 days unless i find a player online for a 1v1 or the devs give me some keys to play it with some friends who are not rly into this kind of games to spend 7£ on an alpha. The game is great tho, just i am not paying 7£ to play against AI, for that I can play plants vs zombies and many others tower defense games.
Its a more polished version of the popular line tower wars from warcraft 3. The game features a lot towers all with unique strategies. There is also a tower defense mode wich is pretty good already. The game is well worth the asking price
Takes me back to the good times of Warcraft 3 custom map - Line Tower Wars... This was super fun then and developers has added even more than was possible back then. It's easy to play, but very hard to master due to many combinations of towers and monsters. I really enjoy it, keep up the good work.
I really liked the Warcraft 3 MOD, and this game seems to have what it takes to make it good. What i'm looking forward to is how are they gona do the towers. The thing i liked about WC3's mod was that there where multiple maps with line tower defende. with different monsters, different towers etc. Right now i couldent really find any one to play with. Since the game just launced not alot of people seem intterested inn it yet. But i will give it a thumbs up because i think this can be as popular as dota. it needs a WHOLE lot of polishing for that tho, but the idea is good. Keep it up dev team. Make us want to spend hours upon hours upon hours inn the game. that is what is going to make or brake this one. allso, dont be afraid to experiment. Too many creators make linear games and they crash after a year or two. Try new things, make it so that we can experence a new version of this game as well as play the old classic everyone loved. That's it for me ... Keep being awesome.
Try it! :D
This game is plenty fun. Well executed and a cool idea. The biggest problem is i cannot find anyone to play with, so i revert to the bots (AI). The AI on the hardest difficulty is just too easy. Thats my current gripe. I havent lost a game yet!?!? PLEASE make it harder. The AI needs to be worked on. Otherwise its fun, but i wont be playing it until its more challenging.
Pretty awesome game. Played a shitton of line tower wars in Warcraft 3, and this really feels like a good sequel to it. Only downside is lack of players right now. But for 10 euros it's definitely worth it :).
A really good game, a nice team. Keep up the good work
A streamlined upgrade of the Warcarft 3 stlye tower games. Very fun with friends.
