I'm giving this game a thumbs up because it's trying to do something original, and it's a departure from the norm in terms of character design and plot. However. This game didn't get the memo that VNs aren't very interesting or fun to play without something else going on. The art is ok, but the h-scenes are super short and uninspired, and some h-scenes are implied/described but not shown at all. There's also a ton of dialogue and an original but sadly uninteresting story to slog through. The main non-VN mechanic is a forgettable card battler that you can just choose to skip (thankfully). There are very few mechanics for the h-scenes, always a missed opportunity. The character designs are initially pretty good, but the effect is ruined when the characters all put on uniforms.
