About This Game

Fear Calibration requires a lot of critical thinking, trial and error, and patience. If you lack one of those, this may not be the game for you.

Do You Think You Can Escape This Madness?

The Unknowingverse: Fear Calibration is a first-person escape room horror game. Explore the various rooms of what seems to be your school, and complete the puzzles to make your way out alive. Read all emails, posters, and notes carefully, and listen to every word said, for you will need this information to make it out. Stay alert, as there may be monsters lurking in the hall that try to hunt you down.

The Roses Shall Burn.

What happened after Empire of Roses? What was Project Hellfire in the first place? Who are you, and where did you come from? Where did your parents go, namely, your father. Who really was he? Can you figure that all out before you get hunted down?

Is anything even real in the first place?

But first maybe focus on making it out alive.

Features

- 2D minigames
- Easter eggs and secrets
- Multiple endings
- And lots, and lots of jumpscares!

Compatibility

This game is designed to work on most non-gaming laptops. It should work for most MacOS versions, but does not work for MacOS Beta.

I really enjoyed this game. The puzzles were challenging and took some time and process of elimination to solve them. As an added bonus the codes to safes/computers/ect change each time you start the level which is great for replayabiity which is fun when you try to speed run the game. In a lore perspective I can tell the creator put effort and thought into the game in that there is a story and meaning to the game but it was over my head. I also really enjoyed the music, especially the end credits score. For $4 I really got much enjoyment from the game.

So far, I've really enjoyed this game. Some of the puzzles have seemed a little clunky at first, but overall they've been pretty manageable once I've figured out their catch. The atmosphere is pretty good - spooky, uncanny, a little weird - and I've been caught off guard and startled by some of the scares. I hope that in future updates, an in game notes section could be added, since I think that would make it easier for people to play it, but I recommend that you do anyway, just with a notepad or something. I look forward to seeing the rest of what the developer makes.

so, I got locked behind the strangest safe puzzle I have ever seen in my life. so if you've ever used a safe or a locker before, you know how these locks work: you spin them around a few times, end up on the 1st number and it clicks, spin opposite direction, click, back to original direction, final click and you spin the lock or pull a handle and it opens the safe (or just auto opens at that point in most video games). so in this game, uh, you can only spin it in one direction, and by spin I mean you make a red line circle it clockwise. there's 0 feedback when you put the line on the number. I tried clicking, hitting buttons on the numbers, holding it steady on each number, I dont know how this one works. it's such unintuitive UI. like, this is not supposed to be a hard puzzle, you just find 3 numbers and it tells you the order (also the font choice sucks, that 5 looks like a 6, my chat thought the 2 was a 3, just why that one), but I have no idea how the game wants me to input these, ...
