Episode 2 becomes even more interesting and challenging with the addition of DFA-type levels. I managed to complete all the levels in about 2-3 hours. I recommend it because I'm passionate about finite automata and would love to see this game continue evolving. However, I must admit that it has some weaknesses in interface design. The grid-like layout feels a bit rough, especially when dealing with complex connections, and the inability to move nodes is a major drawback. At the very least, it should allow players to restart with a single click, but instead, I have to delete nodes one by one, which can be tedious. I do hope to see this game gradually expand into chapters such as PDA and Turing Machine, but I also hope that the interface will undergo improvement along the way.

About This Game
If you are unfamiliar with Finite State Automaton, we highly recommend playing our first game (Finite State Automation Challenges) or learning it online in advance.
The criterion for judging whether it is suitable to play this game is whether you can answer the following question:

The above picture shows a finite-state automaton. The first state with two colors denotes that it is both a beginning and accepting state. So, what is the pattern of strings accepted by this automaton?
Two Major Updates
We're making the game even more challenging and fun by introducing two major updates:- A state can be both beginning and accepting.
- Some challenges require you to create a deterministic automaton (thanks for the suggestions from players), which means:
- There is at most one begin state.
- Empty edges are not allowed, i.e., each edge must contain at least one character.
- For a character, a state can transit to at most one state, i.e., no conflict edges.
- There is at most one begin state.

User Reviews
The devs have expanded on what they have created with the first game. Haven't finished the game yet, but have skimmed through the challenges. They look more interesting and challenging than the ones in the first installment. This offers a great hands on approach to learn about finite state automata.
