About This Game

"A Loving Family - Episode 1" is a short episode that puts you in the shoes of a college student who's returning home after losing his dad, and now he's about to meet his step-family for the first time. It's a pretty big deal, filled with all sorts of emotions - like feeling nervous, curious, and maybe even a little scared. As you dive into this new chapter of your life, the game lets you explore what it's like to connect with these strangers who are now your family, all while dealing with the sadness of losing your dad. Through conversations, shared experiences, and learning about each other's pasts, you start to see how relationships can grow and change, especially in tough times like these.

You'll see how the bonds between you and your step-family start to form, from those awkward first conversations to the moments when you really start to understand each other. And as you make choices along the way, you get to shape how the story unfolds - deciding the direction of your journey and the relationships you build. "A Loving Family" is all about exploring love, loss, and how people come together to support each other, even when life throws them a curveball.

It is with a heavy heart that I give a negative review. I like the story, but the level of English is inferior. The game has a small amount of animations and they look good. But, a very large part of the time you have to look at a static view that doesn't match the story and this is bad game design! The game isn't unplayable, but it's a rather clumsy piece of work.

Reviewed on: 2024/06/08 Score: 2/10, only because it's a finished game. Playtime: About 6 hours for a single playthrough, much more if you're a completionist and are stuck guessing the effects of choices, and haven't unlocked text-skipping.
TL;DR:
In all honesty, I'm having trouble finding words to describe this AVN that wouldn't insult the dev. So, instead of a TL;DR, I'll just let the game speak for itself (verbatim, except spoiler tag): "He wasted no time flipping
Courtney
around and sliding his dick into her ass and ready to fuck it like he had never done before. [Player] got the lube he had as you need lube to put it in anyone's ass. As he sldie the lubed cock in her ass slowly"
Gameplay:
Dialog choices will change how Love Interests view the MC, but the effect of the player's answers...

Wow, the animations are messed up and almost non-existant, the dialogue doesn't come close to matching the activity and there are obvious and glaring errors in continuity during individual scenes.. This is an absolute bare bones effort, made worse by terrifyingly poor English and it comes across like it was written by a 12 year old. This is so bad

Clone your roommates I'm legit stuck on the first free roam event edit: Thank you for changing it, on the day 3 free roam, I got stuck again, but then I realized there is a right arrow to reach Cheyenne's room, I missed that. Freeroams do feel rather pointless, because it seems like you can only find one character to click on and progress - so check 3 rooms and hope its not empty. There are a few renders and some lewd animations, but its mostly 'cardboard' characters, even some lewds are done like that, feels like it makes it more novel than visual. I read some text, can't say much about that. I liked some music tracks.

Grammar/spelling mistakes in English are insufferable (and I'm not even a native speaker; I can't imagine how cringe they would be to one). It looks like the plot was written by a 14 year old struggling with low grades in English. Insufferable really. "Your" doesn't mean "you're", and "you're" doesn't mean "your". Spend your money elsewhere. I couldn't finish this, I've got way better things to do with my time.

I liked it it wasnt what i was expecting. I was expecting more sexual content. But you defensively have an affinity for drama, and romance. As for the game content it self. i feel it needed more Imagry. Like the scene in the boat.. maybe some animated scenes of the party or playing basket ball.. not just charetors talking to the screen.. describing it.. Some voice acting would be good.. . looking forward to the next. Not going to lie kinda hoping they all find out about each others relationships and maybe them having 3somes and orgies and stuff.. maybe some Dom sub stuff as the step mom seems to enjoy his dominance. maybe some pregnancys... just tossing thoughts out there..

I might give this game a second try. So far the plot is not bad. But the dialogue sucks and might be translated from other language. And no sex. I mean sex would at least distract me from the weak dialogue. And did I mention the lack of sex? Well, the characters are pretty wooden, too, basically just the same pictures in every frame with occasional wardrobe changes and mouths open then closed... And not even still images of sex yet. 24 minutes and no sex? At all? Reading this I might just give up on the game and get refund.
