I took this game in a nostalgia fever, since it kinda reminded me of those old TV-connected console games, with 99 games in 1 that I used to own as a kid, and what can I say? I enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, if you are into nostalgia trips, this game is good. It has a lot of good in it, and some bad. The good: - The leveling system is intriguing, letting you choose between 3 upgrades which I find fresh and neat. - The difficulty of the game is nicely set for me. I didn't feel the game gets too easy or hard on all difficulties. - The sprite work is not of exceptional quality, but the colors are nice and they are rather charming. - To my shock, there is a story. It's not grand, but at least it's there when for most retro Shoot Em Ups, the story is often skipped entirely - The retro effect you can toggle it's there and it invokes some old TV screen vibes if you are into that. - The music is alert and nice, with some industrial tones that pleasantly surprised me in this type of game...
