About This Game

Blast through Copistan in a chaotic quest for revenge. With supernatural powers, you play as Kimo, the only one with a chance to defeat Galaxy Brain, and the excessive military might at his command. Use the unique Slingshot ability to go wherever you want, and make Galaxy Brain humble by demolishing his military bases and invading his intricate dungeons.

  • Destructible Environment - Destroy whatever building you want to your strategic advantage, to collect the valuables in them, or just because you feel like it.

  • Unlockable Skills - Unlock a diverse array of skills -- like dashing, slowing time, or creating drones -- in order to stand a chance against overwhelming odds.

  • Vertical Freedom - Use the Slingshot ability to go anywhere you want. It's a magical grappling hook that keeps your inertia going.

  • Extreme Boss Fights - Galaxy Brain spent all of the national budget on indestructible giant robots. It's time to show him that they're not so indestructible.

  • Extreme Police Pursuits - Fight through not 5, not 6, but 10 wanted levels. Expect giant robots and super soldiers.

  • Dozens of Collectible Chihuahua Images - Wait, what?

I played all the Just Causes, Red Faction from 2 to Armageddon, Prototype 2 and just recently also Teardown so you could say I like games where mindless destruction in an open world setting is a key element. Now combine the movement of Just Cause/Prototype with the destructability of Red Faction/Teardown and you get Demolish or Die. For an (early access, at the time of this review) indie title developed by a single person the core mechanics already work incredibly well. The movement is on point (slingshot, dash, super sprint/wall sprint), the destruction is satisfying, the upgrades feel impactful and the bosses challenging. Of course you can't expect as much content as in these AAA titles but for this low price you definitely get your money's worth. The developer is also very open to suggestions and bug reports and frequently updates the game which is a very important point for an early access release, in my opinion. At this point, I'm really excited to see how the project evolves and ...

This game has a great skeleton. Both the main character and the base game that's present at the time of writing this review. Combat is really fun, movement is responsive, destruction is satisfying, weapons feel unique for the most part, enemy variety isn't bad, puzzles are engaging but not too difficult. I could go on. Point is, everything here is solid, but everything could also use more time in the oven, things could be added and tweaked, things could be tuned to be a bit finer. For example, destruction is awesome, buildings crumble in a way that doesn't really get old. But it's mostly aesthetic, it'd be cool if the falling debris caused damage to enemies and vehicles below, allowing more use for the destruction, and even more strategy to combat. Another thing that could use a little tweaking that I can think of off the top of my head is the rocket launcher. It's obviously great at structural damage, but is quite pitiful on infantry like enemies. Maybe that's by design and is purp...

this game is very fun, i've finished in 6h, but will play more to get all the collectionables and achievements. Almost all scenario is destroyable, the game have multiple bosses, multiple dungeons and multiple guns in a open world game. You can level up your character, guns and armor. You can buy news skills to define your gameplay. it's worth mention that almost the entire game was created by one single dev, and this make the experience even better. I higly recommend this game :)

Better than Crackdown 3, for real. This is like a combination of Crackdown and Just Cause 2. It took me about 3.5 hours to beat it I would guess and that was with doing nearly all of the side activities. I free-roamed for around an hour. For $7 it's a good amount of game and doesn't overstay its welcome. I wish there was more honestly, the destruction and gunplay are pretty awesome!
