Osylla does such a fantastic job of creating a genuinely terrifying experience for the player. The anxiety and tension is felt immediately as you begin playing and stays with you as you make your way through the game. If you're a fan of horror games then this is absolutely recommended.

So I've been following this games development on twitter since the trailer dropped a few months back. I finally got around to playing it and I have to say, while the core concept of the game isn't bad I do have a few gripes. The game has a lot of potential and from what I've seen, Ethereal Wind wants to keep updating the game. Firstly some user interface stuff needs to be updated, such as in the options menu. A simple shading of which option you have selected to show which option is currently active would make it much clearer as to what settings you're currently using. Having a different button for Pick up item/Use item and Drop Item. I can't tell you how many times during my 30 minutes playtime that I kept trying to use a key or light-bulb but ended up just dropping it on the ground. As for gameplay, at no point did I feel as if I was in any danger from mother. I never needed to hide because I could just run faster than she does. I don't know if it is a mechanic already but if mot...
Osylla is a scary game with a powerful message. I love it, even though I have died countless times. Fun and challenging. For the developer's first game, it's a very good product. I will keep playing it and highly recommend you to give it a chance.
No, definitely not worth it. It takes 15 minutes and the achievements are pretty buggy (as evidenced by the fact that no-one has gotten the "your sister is dead" or "your sister is alive" achievements). There is no atmosphere. Just none. There's practically no sound at all except your own footsteps which have that weird quality of sounding like they aren't yours, so you keep stopping to check that that isn't the monster's footsteps you're hearing. Avoid.
I played the first version of the game and waited for an update, very well done. It increased the game time, gameplay and scares. It reminds me a little bit of Granny. At first I got it for free, but I decided to buy it anyway to support the dev, since I've been following him on twitter for a while. For the price, it's a definite yes.
I hate Sophie
