This little gem is clearly not getting the attention that it very much deserves, maybe because it has no demo out? Anyway, it's a roguelike turn based RPG with some light platforming elements. There are a decent number of unlockable items and a good variety of powerful artifacts. The trick with this one is that you also get a number of spell elements as you go with which to craft new abilities. Any strong successes get logged in the archives, but there are numerous viable ways to construct new spells to your liking. The pixel graphics are also a welcome touch. Great effort by a solo developer!

This game is honestly really fun to play, with the spell crafting portion being its most enjoyable part. It's really fun to unlock new spell materials as you progress through a run and experiment in crafting new spells to see what kinds of abilities you can get by mixing and matching. The combat is pretty solid too. You can choose whether you want to play offensively, defensively, a mix of both, focus on magical damage or physical. You really get to play how you want. The spell crafting aids with this since you can make spells that are orientated towards your playstyle. They story is alright. It's pretty basic and it feels like you get most of the story progression at the beginning and end of the game, with some bits here and there in the middle. So it feels a bit disjointed. Overall a good play, worth the time and money.
I'm new to RougeLite games, so it took me a run or two to catch on. I really like the random encounters and rewards. But you also have options to shape your run. Together you need to think about your strategy for each run. I have not made it past the second level yet... I'm convinced spell crafting is the key and I get better each time. All in all I think this game is fun, cute (in a pixel-heart kind of way), and mildly addicting (so far).
Dev fixed a bug shortly after I asked about it, despite no longer working on the game for years. Great soundtrack and usually very cheap. Definitely worth getting on a sale!
Unfinished and broken. This game has a lot of good ideas going for it, but none of them are polished, most of it is janky at best. Many in-run decisions are 100% committal for no good reason, and the game will arbitrarily softlock you with no warning. Also, the dev seems to have checked out long ago, so no fixes are on the way. Definitely don't buy, especially at full price
out the gate beat like 3rd boss no exit door...
Honestly? This is pretty great. It needs some QoL options like speed-ups and auto-battle for the smaller fights, and it absolutely needs controller support. It's great to play on Steam Deck laying down, but having to emulate keyboard and mouse is not pleasant. This really should be getting far more attention than it is.
It ain't bad.
