I played this game for 9 mins, and only that long because I had to actually force myself to. The reason behind that is simply this, to move the screen, you use as default keys, z for up, s for down, q & d left and right respectively. ( The dev has since updated the game to use WASD) You cant change the keys. Yeah....no. No character customization, you get thrown in with three premade characters. Poorly written. The dialogue felt so generic, like a young kid wrote them or something. The graphics arent an issue for me, but if you like good looking games then dont bother. I think in the far future with a lot more work this could be decent, but its not even in EA so....? Stay away from this for now, not worth $24.49 and definitely not worth $34.99. May be check on it down the road and see if it gets some major updates, but i wouldent hold my breath.

About the Game
In just a few hours, the region of Nayati River suddenly descended into chaos. From the seaside in the east to the national park in the north, the majority of inhabitants suddenly turned into living dead, forming ferocious hordes hungry for the blood of the living.A few survivors, however, found refuge in the national park, once populated by the powerful native American tribe of Chief Nayati, whose mysterious legend seems to echo the cataclysm the region is experiencing today!
This is where the survivors' adventure begins! They must build and manage a secure and autonomous camp, with the help of a large range of structures unlocked through discoveries and events, as well as repair and upgrade their vehicles to ensure the group's survival in a world infested with the dead.
To do this, they will need to journey out into the vast region of Nayati River in search of the many resources, construction materials, vehicles, documents, weapons and armor found throughout the area, all while fighting the hordes of the dead roaming everywhere. And also to start looking for the dozens of missing who will join the ranks of the community, to find each a place in the group according to their skills and personalities.
But the infestation of the dead in the region cannot go unanswered! The survivors will have to summon their courage, their sense of organization and their wits to head the investigation over the course of a perilous adventure, which will lead them to the four corners of the region in hope of putting an end to the crisis and unraveling the mysteries of the legend of Nayati River!

Nowhere near worth the price. It's absolutely unfinish and never should have been released as anything other than an early access title. The AI is broken, the zombies stagger your people and stunlock them in every melee fight, resource gathering takes way too long, and the voiceover narration for the intro only played sound for my right ear.
I read in another review that there was an issue with the keys for camera movement. It is not true, the game has been updated and it runs just fine for me with WASD. I feel like there is a lot of content and the story seams really interesting. It's unexpected for an indie game developed by one person. It reminds me of The Walking Dead with isometric view. The gameplay is a good mix between survival RPG and management. The start is not easy, it takes some thoughts, don't rush. But when you want a survival game, that's what you like. You have to be careful because the fights are difficult. I lost two characters for a stupid mistake. As soon as I had collected more characters, I was immediately more comfortable. And there are dozens! Each character has his story and brings a skill to the group. Once several characters have been rescued, some can empty a building while the others do the construction. Moreover, the fact of having the constructions unlocked while exploring the map is a gre...
This game like State of Decay with isometric view.
If you like: Maps Management Building Good background stories Exploring Equipping - fighting - recuperating... I strongly recommend this game! Simple and efficient graphics, lots of choices, maps maps maps... This goes straight on to my top ten list, which is now 30 years old...Yes, I am that old. 8-)
BE WARNED! This is an early access game that was not released as such. That just rubs me the wrong way. Id say its somewhere in beta. The story and game mechanics are present, but the game right now (01/24/22) is a buggy mess. That being said its concept and game play (when it works correctly) is a lot of fun. Its a post apocalyptic survival colony builder with a story. I would actually recommend this if it were sold as the early access title that it is. The Dev seems to be actively working on it and sending out updates regularly. The documentation on what the updates do is nonexistent, and the documentation on how to play or what things do in the game is also nonexistent. The communication is just not there between the players and Dev. I hope this game grows to its potential because it has a ton of it. I think it could be a hit with enough work. I hope it gets there I really do.
Awesome game with abundance contents if you look past the simple graphics and navigation. this game is as one reviewer already perfectly described state of decay 2 as a strategy game with more base building stuff. if you are a hoarder like me , you will enjoy this game of looking at your guys looting the houses one by one ===))) do try more than 9 minutes of the game before giving a judgement , and you be surprise at the amount of contents available in this game progression . Warning though!! the zombies here isnt your typical slow walking dead corpses, but its those World war Z , 28 days later fast scary brutal zombie.
Normally I play games for extended amounts of time before reviewing but this is such a mess. This is still in early access. Encountered so many pathfinding bugs in the first 5 minutes. First, my survivors couldn't load supplies into the vehicle. Next, the survivors wouldn't defend when attacked by zombies. They just got stuck running in place and all died... all within the first 5 minutes. That's all it took for me to say nope. This desperately needs alot more work. I was looking for something to replace Dead State. Strangely enough zero people here are comparing this to Dead State. I'm pretty sure the engine is Torque 3D. This looks and feels like dead state but with a whole helluva lot more bugs. Graphics being primitive doesn't matter. It's the gameplay. I can see what this is going for and it will sate that base building itch for alot of gamers. Just look at some of the people that reviewed this here with over 60 hours. They clearly enjoyed this. But the one developer re...
TL/DR: This game is State of Decay 2 without the graphics and the limitations. Well, it had to happen sooner or later. Someone finally figured out how to solve the RNGsus problem. This game does it, and I am so happy that someone finally figured it out. Sure, there doesn't have to be a hydraulic pump at every farm... but there has to be one that you can find... and that's what this game makes sure to do. Same with just about every item that you need in order to progress the game. Sometimes, when faced with that problem game developers go to the insane loot route - and while this game does make sure that there's a LOT of loot to collect, it doesn't use the monty hall method to solve RNGsus. Instead, it's there to allow you to have a reasonable chance to find and collect what you need, while making sure you still have to search a good bit to find it. Add to that the ability to build your survivor encampment how you want to - with the facilities that you want to - and populate it...
Game really needs a guide to its mechanics, seems so many things are missing and Im just not sure if its me not being able to find them. The Resolution doesnt seem to matter, its set by default at 640x480 Full Screen, and the UI seems to be set as if you are playing on that scale taking up far too much real estate. Changing the resolution to my monitors native resolution (2560x1440) didnt seem to make a difference though some in between make everything horribly blurred. Reloading the game reset the resolution. I was enjoying the game, for the first day, simply scavanging parts and some minor combat with zombies, but come night and then the following day the game made me wanna just switch off. The first day my guys took some damage when 6 zombies sprung out of the 1st house we looted. This left 1 survivor needing 1st aid the other 2 damaged, I gave the one needing 1st aid what was needed and continued on. Came around 8pm and got told they needed to go to shelter for the night, so I wa...
