It is amusing to be reviewing a game about fallacies and forcing false dichotomies and not being able to give a review score more nuanced than "recommended" or "not recommended". This is likely obvious, but if the theme doesn't appeal to you, don't bother. The combat mechanics are simple, there are (fairly minor) UI frustrations sprinkled throughout, and character pathfinding is hit-and-miss. I also unfortunately can't say this is an easily picked up title for those unfamiliar with RPGs/games in general, because tutorials are sparse and menus are a bit fiddly, so it helps to be quite familiar with the genre and therefore what to look for and how you might generally expect things to work.
