CrunchTime

A great minimalist platformer that nobody knows about.

No English reviews for this one yet? Let's fix that! CrunchTime is a short but sweet, medium-difficulty platformer with a good sense of humor and tight controls. It's got a great faux ASCII art aesthetic... just check the screenshots... and the music is low-key but quality. The main character is an overworked programmer transported into the code world to hunt down bugs, and along the way you can find a number of darkly humorous "demotivational" emails from management, telling you sacrificing your health for the company is good, actually, unpaid overtime builds character, your coworker definitely didn't die from overwork because he was sick anyway, and so on. These are poorly translated from Japanese(?) but still understandable, and a highlight of the experience. CrunchTime's challenge is moderate, with a smooth difficulty curve ranging from very easy early levels to a few devious platforming challenges in the final level, but overall it's pretty casual and nothing that will hold ba...
