Wings of Glass is a beautiful puzzle platformer with intriguing puzzles and absolutely no hand holding. While the path to discovering answers to enigmatic problems can be frustrating, it's also extremely rewarding when you succeed. And the gorgeous art you see along the way makes pressing forward ever worth it.

An interesting blend of polished and janky, Wings of Glass is a 3D platformer that's more unique through the context of its ideas rather than the actual ideas themselves. Jumping doesn't feel entirely polished in terms of animation and sound, but it functions solidly enough and the game does a fantastic job at correcting small mistakes and keeping platforming fluid in ways much bigger games can't manage. In spite of that, it's not a game I'd recommend to a casual platformer fan. While the actual action of Wings of Glass isn't really difficult, a lot of its puzzles, thanks to their minimal explanation of mechanics, take a good amount of gaming intuition to tackle. Of course, because of this lack of explanation, the game's otherwise straightforward puzzles and navigation feel more satisfying than usual to overcome. If you really love 3D platformers with puzzles or have played a lot of games and just want something kind of different, then this is likely to offer an enjoyable, short exper...

Fun as all get out and very immersive. Reminds me of the classic puzzle games of the PS1 era. The music is by far the best part of the game for me. Very soothing.

Pretty admirable effort on the part of the lone developer You play as the ( adorable ) Mayfly, a creature known as a Glasswing in the beginning of the story, you are met with another demon hat thinks she will do the world better, if she isn't a glass wing anymore - so he starts to pull off her wings. In the midst of this, Mayfly falls through the earth into an underground cave, and is now tasked with finding her wing pieces/ The game controls pretty nicely ( on mouse and keyboard - controller feels weird and off at times ) If you played Metal Gear Rising - this game might feel comfortable to you, Mayfly sort of auto parkours over obstacles when you jump near em, see some tall pillars? Just jump! Mayfly will stick to em like glue, making the tricky platforming sections a breeze ( you can still fall off though, it's not fool-proof ) As you go through the levels searching for wing pieces, you will meet puzzles - all of which are setup int he intro. you can duck and crawl, you can clim...

Really surprised how good this turned out. I am glad I bought this game recently. I have just reached the credits as of yesterday. The game, while simple, has a really great art direction and atmosphere around it compared to the first one. I really enjoyed the whole adventure as Mayfly. Her abilities as you gain them back were quite a plus as well. Each section of the game always kept me thinking and wondering what is gonna happen next. Each element and environment felt unique and at times kept me on my toes. It also gave me a sense of wonder similar to Klonoa. It is a platformer with a unique feel just like Klonoa is. Overall I enjoyed this game thoroughly and hope to see more with Wings of Glass and other games made by this developer.

Though I haven't played much this is a fun little game and it's cool that one person was able to make it! But on to the game, it's a decent little platformer and has some fun puzzles as well. Now for me, I did not read the main description of this game before playing but I quickly found out that even with a weapon it's best to run from enemys rather than fight them, you may slow them down but that ain't gonna save you. But that's not a bad thing and it makes the game pretty interesting when you can't just brute force your way through.

For £5, I find this game is well worth the amount as the game is very heavy in it's visual storytelling, and feels like new breath into the oldschool platforming genre.

So I played through the entire game from start to finish. It actually made me jump at some spots, and was fun. However at some parts its confusing on what to do, well at least for me it was. Overall very good, looks very nice, a good length for an indie title, and it can be improved. Looking forward to chapter 3 and DLC. You're the best Sayuri!

A wonderfully atmospheric platformer with a lovely artstyle and an intriguing story. Aside from a few glitches (including a really annoying fullscreen bug) and some general jankiness, the gameplay is solid and I really appreciate the lack of hand-holding throughout. Overall I would recommend.
